He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lyle McGrath and Clara Ida Krieger McGrath; his sister Mary Joyce Sanford; and also, Edward Lyle and Clara Ida McGrath.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Newman (Wendell Newman) and David McGrath (Kim McGrath); his wife Darlene Rose Wagner; his daughters, Nancy Rea (Rod) of Pagosa Springs, CO and Cathy Bentley of Sugarland, TX; his grandchildren, Jennifer Jordan (Adam), Jason, Adam Jamie (Lauren), Kaylie and Abbigail (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Avery, Alex, Camryn, Gabrielle and Mackenna.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807). A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
