He was predeceased by: his parents, Dana O'Donnell and Gertrude Metzger O'Donnell; and his siblings, Emma Jane O'Donnell, Agnes Smith, Regina Hubbard, Loraine Watt, Margaret O'Donnell, Marcella Giles, Patrick O'Donnell, George O'Donnell and Emmett O'Donnell.

He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Crowder; his daughters, Jamie Sterbenz of Davenport and Stephanie Teaney (Richard Jr.) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Joshua Sides, Tyler Sides, Caleb Sterbenz, Lauren Vesely and Austin Vesely; his great grandchild Mackenzie Sides; and his siblings, Mary Lou Finks, Virginia Coughlin, Janice Keefner and Joe O'Donnell.
