He is survived by: his wife Maureen Thoendel; his sons, Christopher Thoendel (Julie) of Williamsburg, Virginia and Sean Thoendel of Branson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Drake, Shep, Anna and Maddox; and his siblings, Virginia Sides of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Ken Thoendel (Ginger) of Sioux Falls.
