He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Coppenbarger and Rose Coppenbarger (Holford); and his siblings, William Seacrest, Betty Rose Coppenbarger and Roberta Coppenbarger.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Coppenbarger; his children, Donald Coppenbarger Jr. of Branson, Missouri, Andrew Coppenbarger of Ozark, Missouri and Angel Secrest (Bill) of Aurora, Indiana; his grandchildren, Drew, Ben, Ashley, Brittney, Amber, Autumn and Will; and his siblings, Richard Coppenbarger (Enora) of Missouri, Ray Lee Coppenbarger of Kansas, Shirley (Gary) of Kansas, Nanette (Jim) of Kansas, Charlotte of Kansas and Carrol Lea Coppenbarger of Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
