With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Russell of Branson, Missouri, born in Bonner Springs, Kansas, who passed away on October 22, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smythe and Etta Smythe (Gold); her husband Dean Russell; and her siblings, James Smythe, Rick Smythe, Charlene Locke and Pamela Smythe.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Russell (Darlene) of Peoria, AZ and Margo Erickson (Dale) of Merriam Woods, MO; her siblings, Jerry Smythe (Kathy) of Highlandville, MO, Hank Smythe (Karen) of Kimberling City, Linda Smith (Sanford) of Shell Knob, Dixie Rees of Springfield, MO and Cheryl Phipps of Shell Knob; and her grandchildren, Jonathan, Daniel, Ian, Patricia, Megan, Alec, Matthew, Carissa, Audrey, Dale III and Nathan.
