“I played with Austin in the BHS Jazz Band, and played music with him outside of school a few times. He was a gifted and very passionate musician with a fierce stage presence, and was knowledgeable about countless different artists/genres. I ran into Austin at a bookstore, and we talked about parts of the world we'd like to go and see some day. When I mentioned my hesitations he said "If you want to go there, man just do it - make it happen." I'll always remember that, Austin RIP. - Ryan Martin”
