She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshal "Homer" Brinton and Anna Mae Brinton (Hill); her parents-in-law, Lester and Doris Burtness; and her sister-in-law Janice Abrams (Spence).
She is survived by: her husband Lance Eugene Burtness; her children, Ellen Lundgren (Todd) of Fertile and John Burtness (Valerie) of Clear Lake; her grandchildren, Zack Lundgren (Natalie) of Prole, Chase Burtness (Jordan) of Cedar Falls and Cameron Burtness of Fertile; her great grandchildren, Braxton, Blake Burtness and Baby Lundgren; her siblings, Donna Hawkins (Ron), Mark Brinton, Mary Brinton, Deb Knoll (Kevin) and Lisa Meints (Rod); and also, JoAnn Bailey and Larry Burtness (Janet). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
