He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hinsley; his daughter Tina Wessley (Tim) of Raytown, Missouri; his grandchildren, Christopher (Ashley), Jace, Monte (Krissie) and Matthew (Lara); his great grandchildren, Karl, Cortez, Jackson, Emerie, Addison, Isabella, Leah, Malachi, Olivia and Dominick; his stepchildren, Jerry Hinsley (Jan) of Falls Church and Larry Hinsley (Bonnie) of Branson West, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hannah, Tristan and Becca; and his siblings, Ginger Baker (Mike) of Olathe, Kansas and Steve Rickert (Karen) of Olathe, Kansas. He is also survived by many friends and extended family.
