He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Horner and Martha Horner; and his siblings, Ray Horner, Bert Horner, Tom Horner, Chauncy Paul and Norma Combs.
He is survived by: his wife Ida "Nadine" Horner of Bradleyville, MO.; his son Rick Horner; and his brother Ted Horner of Forsyth, MO.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
