We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2023, at the age of 87, Loren R. Sloppy of Bowling Green, Missouri, born in Richland, Washington passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Rueben and Edith Long Sloppy; his wife Lila Mae Barrett; his grandson Korey Preston; his siblings, Verne Sloppy, Roy Sloppy, Lorraine Sloppy and Zelma Weatherby; and his daughter Cindy Hoskins.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Marie Preston of Bowling Green; his grandchildren, Vanessa Doolin of Bowling Green, Christy Huckstep (Nathan) of Louisiana and Diane Preston of Sullivan; his daughters, Cheryl Colston, Rhonda Ruffin and Debra Irvin; and his brothers, Dean Sloppy (Evelyn) and Dale Sloppy. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
