With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lanette Bird of Bowling Green, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lennie V. Shinn and Iantha Shinn (Hasty); her husband Robert D. Bird, Sr.; her son-in-law Ronnie Oberman; and her siblings, Mary "Little" Butler, Myrt Reid, Ella Brown, Doris "Dottie" Harrelson, Jack Shinn, Lennie Dale Shinn, Wayne Shinn, Bryce Butler, Marion Richards, Morris Reid and James Harrelson.

She is survived by: her children, Robert D. Bird, Jr. (Terri) of Middletown and Susan M. Oberman (Bird) of New Hartford; her grandchildren, Michelle Mehler (Michael), Russell Bird, Raymond Bird (Kacy Mudd) and William Oberman (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Jaxson Oberman, Jayson Oberman, McKenzie Mehler, Addison Bird and Ryland Bird; her siblings, Elmer "Bud" Shinn (Carol), Lois Richards, Carl "Tick" Shinn (Nancy), Neta Elder (Harry Cleve) and Roger Shinn (Stephanie); and her siblings-in-law, Joe Brown (Lorraine), Barb Shinn and Karen Shinn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
