He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Abshier and Ruby Abshier (Read); his daughter Vanessa Hutchinson; and his siblings, Raymond Abshier, Teddy Joe Abshier and Ronnie Abshier.
He is survived by: his wife Deb Abshier of Bowling Green; his children, Tiffany Abshier-Reid and Luke Abshier; his grandchildren, Dalton Reid, Eric Reid, Cole Reid and Gwendolyn Reid; and his brother Denny (Peg Walton). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
