She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Powell and Ruth Powell; her daughter Tammy Casteel; her sister Betty Nelson; her granddaughter Amanda Thompson; and her great grandchild Sammy.
She is survived by: her husband John Baxter of Bourbon; and her children, John K. Baxter (Tammy) of Bland, Regina Ragan (Randy) of Belle, Shelly Baxter of Belle, Scott Baxter (Nancy) of Belle and Kyle Baxter (Alan) of St. Louis. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: seventeen great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Midlawn Funeral Home (7280 State Hwy 47, Union, MO 63084). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
