He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Burnett; his brother Thomas Burnett; his brother-in-law Gary Cunningham; and his grandparents, Orville Burnett, Opal Burnett and Walter.
He is survived by: his children, Derek Burnett (Madison) of Kearney and Madeline Burnett of Springfield, MO; his mother Edith Burnett (Richters) of Bourbon; his sisters, Gay Cunningham, Ross Pulvere of St. George and Deborah Sampson (Dennis) of Salem, Illinois; and his pet Bud. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
