It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Hoerath of Bourbon, Missouri, born in Savannah, Tennessee, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Garrard and Ella Garrard (Moore); her husbands, Herman Hoerath and Roy Smith; and her brother David Garrard.
She is survived by: her close friend Teresa Gable; her children, Lawrence Charanza of Cuba, MO, Roy Smith of Catawissa, MO, Megan Smith of Saint Clair, MO, Michelle Smith of Leabanon, MO and Regina Garrard of Utah; her grandchildren, Mathew, Catlynn, Casey, Marcus and David; her great grandchild Damon Lily; and her siblings, Tim Garrard of Krakow, MO, Robert Garrard of Krakow, MO, Mary Johnson (Rick) of Richwoods, MO and Elaine Garrard of Wyoming. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
