He is survived by: his wife Janie Hoerath; his children, Lawrence Charanza of Cuba, MO, Roy Smith of Bourbon, MO, Megan Smith of St. Clair, MO and Michelle Smith of Lebanon, MO; his sisters, Mary Ruth Simpson of Bourbon, MO and Carol Ann Gray of Lebanon, ID; his daughter Elsie Hoerath; his brother James Hoerath (Moe); his sister-in-law Frannie Hoerath; and his wife Ruth Ann Hoerath. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews, other relatives and many friends.
