He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bartle and Dorothy Bartle; his wife Mary Joyce Hill; his siblings, Wanda Roach, Kathy Bartle and Thomas Bartle; and his granddaughter Madison Bartle.

He is survived by: his friend Danny Parkins; his children, Timothy Bartle (Heather), Cory Bartle (Angie), Tom Bartle (Tricia) and Brandi Byrd (Justin) of Bourbon, MO; his grandchildren, Brittany Bartle, Cameron Bartle, Raylee Bartle, Hannah Cox, Rhett Cox, Austin Bartle, Logan Bartle, Gage Bartle, Kendall Krause, Drew Bartle, Jenna Bartle and Seth Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Eckenfels, Nolan Wilhelm and Maicie Bartle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
