He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Skaggs and Edith Skaggs; and his siblings-in-law, Curtis Luna and Wilma Sellers. He is survived by: his wife Sheree Skaggs; his stepchildren, Meghenn (Jason Portell) of Louisville and Mitchell Bax of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandson Ashton Portell; his stepgrandchildren, Lily Portell and Luke Portell; his sisters, Tracie Ware of Bourbon and Stacie (Joe Garcia) of Angleton, Texas; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne (Cheri Luna) of Rosati, Alan (Marlin Luna) of Independence, Kevin (Lori Luna) of Wentzville and Dewayne Sellers of Steelville, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
