He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Hatch Crego and Marion Margaret Stewart; his wife Norma Glenda Crego; his son Patrick; and his brothers, Stewart and Norman Crego.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Crego of Bosworth, Cathryn Crego of Somerset, Alan Crego II (Joan) of Kansas City and Nora Thieman (John) of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, John "Josh" Thieman, Aron Thieman and Lia Rose Crego.
In lieu of flowers, for those who would like to make a memorial contribution, the family respectfully requests they be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
