He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Simmons and Doris Simmons (Meyer); his former wife Bonnie Scott; and his siblings, Thomas, Robert Simmons and Linda Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Serck of Boonville, MO; his children, Scott Simmons of Columbia, MO and Jeana Stone (Mike) of Canton, GA; his stepchildren, Pat Green, Christi Carmichael (Tim) and Steve Green (Carrie); his grandchildren, Amy Stone Cainion (Eric Rodriguez), Jason Stone (Aubrey), Tyler Simmons, Nicholas Simmons, Blake Green (Melissa), Lindsey Watts (Andy), Laura, Maggie Green, Austin, Alyssa, Addison Quinlan, Aaron (Tiffany), Evan Carmichael (Kaylee), Taylor, Matt, Jackson, Bailey and Charley Green; and his great grandchildren, Izabella Cainion, Jack Landon, Maggie Stone, Lydia, Wally Green, Everett, Reese and Lachlan Carmichael. He is also survived by his daughter and grandchildren.
