Shirley Potter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Potter of Boonville, Missouri, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on July 18, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Edwards and Virginia Edwards; her son Danny Potter; and her siblings, Riley Garnett, Bob Edwards, Wayne Edwards and Nevelyn Nivens.

She is survived by: her husband Frank Potter of Boonville; her son Randy Potter (Lynn) of Wooldridge; her daughter-in-law Mary Anne Potter of Boonville; and her brothers, Gilbert "Bogie" Edwards of Kansas City and Ron Edwards of Prairie Home. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

Due to the current pandemic, the family has chosen to have a celebration of life from 12:00 to 7:00 p. m. on Thursday July 23, 2020 at Howard Funeral Home but the family will not be present.

Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Heart Association or to the Cooper County Extension Office attention: Master Gardeners.
