He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland C. Gassaway and Audella Lewis Gassaway Chapelle; and his sister Roseanne Adams. He is survived by: his wife Michele; his daughters, Elizabeth Sorensen, Rebecca Cornell, Linda Cue and Luann Avalos (Chris); his grandchildren, Michael Sorensen, Autumn Marksberry, Jeremy Cue, Michele Cue, Micaela Shannon, Sarah Avalos, Hannah Avalos and Nathaniel Avalos; and his half-siblings, Darlene Dungan, Dottie Lee and Tom Chapelle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
