She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Frederick and Beulah Frederick (Branch); her husband William Stanley Mitchell; and her sister Dorothy Chrisman. She is survived by: her children, Dwight Mitchell of Boonville, Lisa Wyatt (Jeff) of New Franklin, Alena Stewart of Boonville and Madonna Mitchell of Boonville; and her grandchildren, Amanda Maddex (Tony), Lindsay Kilgore (Lane), Rebecca Mitchell, Scarlett Carter (Travis), William Grimsley (Kristin), Brian Grimsley, Jennifer Hanson (Micah), Mary Stewart, Miranda Keller (Michael) and Mitchell Potter (Brittany). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Robert E. Lee Chapter, Scholarship Program or to Christ Church Episcopal, Boonville.
