He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Twenter and Bertha Twenter (Hodges); his former wife Abby Twenter; and his brother Larry Twenter. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Twenter (Vollmer) of Boonville; his children, John Twenter (Lori) of Boonville, Jeff Twenter (Shelly) of Russell, KS, Ed Vollmer (Monica) of Harrisburg, MO, Rosie Stauder (Tom) of Columbia, MO and Steven Vollmer (Stephanie) of Fulton, MO; his sisters, Barb Schupp (Larry), Grove and Carolyn Aggeler (Lyle) of Clifton City, MO.; and his grandchildren, Chad Twenter (Heather), Shane Twenter (Kayla), Kyle Myers (Megan), Brittany Asbury (George), Danielle Lorenz (Josh), Michael Ryan (Kim) and Shayla Peck (Dustin). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
