He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Friedrich; his children, Susan Barlow (Jeff) of Kansas City, MO, Janice Sperry (Brent) of Rogers, AR and Jeff Adkins; his siblings, Ann Meuli and Michael Adkins (Suzi) of Topeka, KS; his sister-in-law Charlene Adkins; his grandchildren, Jill Gockel (Eric) of Maryville, MO, Rebecca (Hunter), Beth Sperry, Patrick Sperry of Rogers, AR, Kara Sperry of Rogers, AR, Jonathan Adkins, Jacob Adkins and Daniel Adkins; and his great grandchildren, Kody, Kamryn, Jaxson, Nathan, Taylor Gockel of Maryville, MO and Soren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
