He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Adkins, Sr. and Winifred Adkins (Davis); his brothers, Paul Adkins, Jr., Homer Adkins and Larry Adkins; and his grandson Jeremy Barlow.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Friedrich; his children, Susan Barlow (Jeff) of Kansas City, MO, Janice Sperry (Brent) of Rogers, AR and Jeff Adkins; his siblings, Ann Meuli and Michael Adkins (Suzi) of Topeka, KS; his sister-in-law Charlene Adkins; his grandchildren, Jill Gockel (Eric) of Maryville, MO, Rebecca (Hunter), Beth Sperry, Patrick Sperry of Rogers, AR, Kara Sperry of Rogers, AR, Jonathan Adkins, Jacob Adkins and Daniel Adkins; and his great grandchildren, Kody, Kamryn, Jaxson, Nathan, Taylor Gockel of Maryville, MO and Soren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Howard Funeral Home (1397 W Ashley Rd, Boonville, MO 65233). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the S. S. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery (1004 Locust St, Boonville, MO 65233).
