He was predeceased by: his parents, Orel Scantlin and Mildred Brown Scantlin (Judy); his sister Geraldine; and his niece Christy Craig. He is survived by: his wife Judith Leathers; his daughter Teresa Gerke (Steve); and his grandsons, Mitchell Boggs, Jr. (Keyta) of Armstrong, Justin Boggs (Samantha) of Bowling Green and Logan Boggs of Boonville. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
