He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest William Schnetzler and Lydia Alice Schnetzler (Draper); his wife Daisy Alwina Schnetzler; his son Harold "Hal" Schnetzler Jr.; his brother Ralph Schnetzler; and his granddaughters, Lydia Katheryn and Hilary Jean.

He is survived by: his son Bobby Schnetzler (Karen) of Boonville; his daughter-in-law Diane Schnetzler of Bartlett; his grandchildren, Ashley Schnetzler, Andrea Schnetzler (Darrell Tindal), Amy Campbell (Sean), Adam Schnetzler (Trish), Jared Schnetzler, Tanner Schnetzler (Jamie) and Taylor Schnetzler; his stepgrandchildren, Pamela, Emily Klusmeyer and Matthew Klusmeyer (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Ryan Wright (Amber), Cody, Brandon, Jett, Jalyn, Alexis Schnetzler and Elizabeth Whoolbright; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dominic, Evelyn and Elijah Klusmeyer.
