She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rudolph Stegner and Pauline Stegner; her former husband Freeman Brown; her husband Col. Clarence Gowan; her daughter Paula Wiemholt (Eddie) of Boonville; her granddaughter Anna Wiemholt; and her close friend Paul Henry of Boonville.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Evangelical United Church of Christ in Boonville.
