He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred West and Marjorie West (Wallace); his wife Doris Hamm of Yates Center, KS; his son Lyle; and his siblings, Delores Sears, Pat West and Doug West.
He is survived by: his son Bob West (Karen); his grandson Curtis West; his daughter Marcy Grammer (David); his grandchildren, Cassie Kramer, Kyle Harvey, Madison Carroll, Jamison Grammer and Allison Hutcheson; his son David West (Jeanette); his grandchildren, Heather Gauthier, Hillary West and Chantelle Shelley; and his siblings, Shirley Comer, Mary Shaffer, Judy Bell, Jack West, Ralph West and Larry West. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Lamine Church of Christ or the Old Lamine Cemetery in Lamine, Mo.
