He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitte Fenton and Mary Anne Fenton (Kosfeld); and his wife Susan Kay Green. He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Fenton (Jacquilin) of Blackwater, Thomas James Fenton of New Franklin and Brandi New (Brandon) of Blackwater. He is also survived by three brothers; one sister; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Old Lamine Church of Christ.
