It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melba McGee of Bonne Terre, Missouri, born in Leadington, Missouri, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Guy; and her siblings, Glendell, Orvin, James W., Carl, Edward "Bill", Gale Rasnic, Alma Cain and Ruth Penberthy.
She is survived by: her husband Orville R. "Corky" McGee; her children, Dennis Ross McGee (Judy), Karen Compton (Michael) and Linda Flanery (Howard); her grandchildren, Michael Scott Compton (Lisa), Jennifer Spalding (Mike), Ross McGee (Heather), Sarah Ward (Brent), Bill McGee (Wendy), Angela Miller (Joe), Jason Flanery (Kristin) and Lori Goode (Ron); and her sister Annabell McCoy. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Shriners Children's Hospital. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Melba McGee 's name.
