He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Edward and Ada Ann House (Eaves); his former wife Opal House; his son Steve House; his grandson Adam House; his stepson Robert Dale Hill; and his siblings, Roy, Louis, Henry, Irvin House, Ethel Cross, Violet Skaggs, Evelyn Jackson, Marilyn Miller and Merle Ann Edgar.
He is survived by: his wife Della House; his children, Danny House (Shari), Darla Myers (Gary) and Becky Jaco (Darrell); his daughter-in-law Jeanine House; his grandchildren, Amy, Justin, Michael, Chris, Daniel, Angela, Jon, Melissa and Hannah; his stepgrandchildren, Kelli, Kayla and Josh; and his brother Cecil (Carol). He is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; a recent great-great-grandson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bonne Terre Chapel (313 Benham St, Bonne Terre, MO 63628). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials if desired, may be made to Providence Baptist Church.
