He was predeceased by: his parents, August Black and Mildred Black (Blanton); his son Shane Black; his siblings, Joyce White (Bud McCord), Maggie Johnston (Bill), Kay Wigger (Jimmy), Virginia Smith (Albert), Sharon Loafman, George Black, Damon Black, Frank Black and Michael "Bo" Black; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Black.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Black (Rhonda) of Bonne Terre, Mary Montgomery of Farmington, Amy Crawford of Farmington and Brent Black of Texas; his grandchildren, Chad LaChance, Cody Crawford, Macy Montgomery, Kureston Black and Logan Black; his brothers, Homer Black and Randy Black (Connie); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Black, Helen Black, Debbie Black and Ray Loafman. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
