He was predeceased by: his parents, Ila M. Usina and Julian Usina; his siblings, Mary Catherine Warth, Arthur J. Usina and William E. Usina; his close friend Norma L. Thomas; and his former wife Jane Fiorino.

He is survived by: his son Lee Flynt Usina (Katy) of St Louis; his brother Michael J. Usina (Theresa) of St. Augustine, Florida; his grandchildren, Alicia, Adam and Cassie of St. Louis; and his former wife Selma Peterson of St Louis.
