She was predeceased by: her parents, John R. Sherry and Bessie Sherry (Daniels); her daughter Robin Shoemake; and her sisters, Mary Lou Vanguilder, Wanda Withers and Norma Maddox.
She is survived by: her husband Lee Ray Young; her son Robert "Bob" Young (Susan Pauley); her grandchildren, Lee Young, Trisha Young, Steven Young, Christina Dawson, Kris Bowles and Gary Bowles; her great grandchild Heather; her grandchildren, Ceretta Dawson, Dutch Dawson and Ryker Bowles; and her siblings, Betty Smith, Peggy Whittom, Ronald "Mug" Sherry, Allen "Pete" Sherry and Gerald "Sooner" Sherry.
