She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Rosener and Bernice Rosener (Byington); her husband Marshall Mell; and her siblings, Shirley Franklin, Delores Mahurin and Frankie Rosener.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Day (Dale), Janet Hicks (Danny), Jim Mell (Karen) and Amy Mitchell (Scott); her grandchildren, Kurtis Wills and Maggie Mitchell; and her brothers-in-law, David Mell and Clyde "Beans" Mahurin. She is also survived by twenty-five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Helen's name to St. Joseph Catholic Church or to St. Vincent de Paul food pantry.
