He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Golden and Juanita Bernice Gillam (Jinkerson); and his sister Carolyn Tyler. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Fay Gillam (Strickland); his niece Kathy Paul (Brad); and his godchildren, Cody Allen and Heather Johnson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bonne Terre Chapel (313 Benham St, Bonne Terre, MO 63628). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home (313 Benham St, Bonne Terre, MO 63628).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's honor to St. Jude's or Fresenius Kidney Care Dialysis Center.
