It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Wood of Bonne Terre, Missouri, born in Elvins, Missouri, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cook and Sula Cook; and her sister-in-law Linda Cook. She is survived by: her husband Daniel "Gene" Wood; her grandchildren, Justin Marshall and Juliet Lobato (Jake); her brothers, Ronald Cook (Willa) and Walter Dale Cook; and her stepchildren, Mary Scott (Zindell), Susan Schilling (Eric), James Wood and Robert Wood (Leda). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
