She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Ruehrup and Gertrude Ruehrup (Steinmeyer); and her husband Robert Vallow. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Michelle Vallow) and Joyce (Jerry Gwillim). She is also survived by three grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.

Memorial donations may be made to Speak St. Louis or charity of choice.
