It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Hawkins of Bonne Terre, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollin Guy and Sarah Hawkins (Huskey); his siblings, James, Robert Hawkins and Patricia Bellamy (Don); and his brother-in-law Charlie "Eddie" Mercille.
He is survived by: his wife Alice "Midge" Hawkins (Mercille); his children, Diane Schnable (Fred), Debbie Copeland (Carl Autry), Donna Jean Weber (Wayne), Donnie Hawkins (Laurie), Dale Hawkins (Jan), David Hawkins (Tracy) and Talbot Pratt (Nadia); and his in-laws, Julie Hawkins, Verna Mercille, Jeannie, Del Pratt, Debbie and Virgil Boyer. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Heart Association, if so desired. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Don Hawkins 's name.
