She was predeceased by: her parents, Colbert Alvin and Elocia Ferrell (Harmon); her husband Lowell Leroy Barton; her son Verney F. Parton; her grandson Verney F. Parton, Jr.; and her siblings, Willota Pruitt, Jessie, Harmon, Edward, Earl, Neal Ray, Glen and Troy Ferrell.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Parton; her grandchildren, Jeffery Porter and Christine Parton; her great grandchild Kelsie Ann Voloski; and her great great grandchildren, Elijah, Everleigh and Elena Voloski-Thompson. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and the extended family.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Christene's memory to American Cancer Society.
