He is survived by: his wife Chu; his children, David Childs of Bolivar and Yona Childs-Holman (Tony Holman) of Aldrich, Missouri; his grandchildren, Caleb Haynes (Felicia Haynes) of Buffalo and Sarah Gilpin (James Gilpin) of Bolivar, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Caitlin Haynes, Elizabeth Haynes and Henley Gilpin; and his siblings, Dennis Childs of Nottingham, Phillip Childs of Fort Wayne, Delcie Muehl of Syracuse and Diane Rockhill of Brushton.
