He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Thomas and Velma Thomas; and his siblings, Betty Jump, Floyd Thomas Jr., Troy Thomas, Paul Thomas, Lavonne "Bonnie" Smith and Sharon Coffey.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Thomas (Martha "Marti"), Steven Thomas (Cindy) and Randy Thomas (Lisa); his grandchildren, James Michael, Lindsay Nicole, Corey Alexander, Jarrad Logan, Morgan Danielle, Connor Jacob and Alyssa Brooke; his great grandchildren, Jagger Evans and Zena Renee; and his brothers-in-law, Robert "Bob" Seiner and Richard Coffey. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, Howard S. Keeling Post 138 in Bolivar.
