He is survived by: his wife Lorene; his children, Sherlynn Phillips (Scott), Arlena Miller, John James (Debra), Eric James, Laura Burke (Bryan), Anna Terry (Shelby) and Jason James (Jessie); and his siblings, Larry James (Barbara) and Evelyn Phelps (Tom). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
