He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hembree and Wilma Hembree (Fausett); his siblings, Blaine Hembree, Virginia Sawyer and Shirley Blevins; and his grandson Kody Essary.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Bowling); his children, Matthew Hembree (Tamra), Clinton Hembree (Missy) of Reeds Spring, MO, Kim Essary (Kelly) of Cape Fair, MO and Leah (Steve); his siblings, Billy Hembree of Galena, MO, Fern Langston of Hurley, MO and Patsy Tolbert of Reeds Spring, MO; and his grandchildren, Justin Hembree (Michelle), Zakkarie Hembree, Carla Hembree, Nora Hembree, Sara Hembree, Lizzy Hembree, Rebecca Church (John), Kara Hembree, Tosha Ingersoll (C. J.), Austin Hensley (Kristin), Morgin Lightfoot (Kyle), Kailee Mallory (Jared) and Koy Essary. He is also survived by 24 great grandchildren.
