He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Anne Mitchell Pace; his son Julian Hughes Pace, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Rios Pace; his daughter Emily Pace Huff; his son-in-law Timothy R. Huff; his grandchildren, Henry Pace Huff, Elliot Mitchell Huff, Amelia Rios Pace and Nicholas Julian Pace; his nieces, Keli Cullen and Karen Fetner; and his nephew Evans Mitchell.
