She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Leigh and Winton Melton. She is survived by: her daughters, Leigh Ann Kimes and Carrie Kimes of Topeka; her brother Robert E. Melton (Gale); her nephew Robby of Altus, OK; her niece Dawn of Dallas, TX; and her granddaughter Gracie Leigh Nolan of Topeka.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Topeka Bible Church (1101 SW Mulvane St, Topeka, KS 66604). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Bible Church, The Helping Hands Humane Society, Midland Care Hospice House or the Topeka Shawnee County Friends of the Library.
