He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Neil and Anna Novella Neil (Wyant). He is survived by: his wife Patty Neil; and his daughters, Lisa Lechner and Joy Sass. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
