Gordon Eugene Forrest Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 77, Gordon Eugene Forrest of Bolivar, Missouri, born in Modesto, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Gordon Forrest and Goldie Forrest (Hicks); and his brothers, Bobby, Mearl and Alvin.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Forrest (Short); his children, Brian, Amanda and Josh; his sister Reba (Mike Greer); his grandchildren, Joseph, Sarai, Rachel, Isaac, Ella and Harper; and his great grandchildren, Khloe, Hudson and Hunter. He is also survived by other relatives, family, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home - Bolivar (407 E Broadway St, Bolivar, MO 65613). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donation may be made to the Halfway Missionary Baptist Church.
