It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Lea Bellinger in Bolivar, Missouri, who passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Georgia Lea departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Georgia Lea may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Georgia Lea leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Barker and Flossie Barker (Malone); her husband Dave Bellinger; and her children, Steven Nixie and Dawn Barrett.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Wright (Jack) of Kansas City, MO and Leah Washington of Tucson, AZ; her brother Bill Barker (Sharon); and her close friend Arlene Lear. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Georgia's honor.
